TEARS

Bringing hope and healing

The TEARS Foundation, a vital support system for survivors of GBV, sexual violence, and r*pe in South Africa, sought private-sector funding after government support was frozen. Bearing this in mind, we set out with the goal to develop a powerful and effective integrated messaging strategy
that would resonate with potential victims and survivors, while appealing to the private sector for Corporate Social Investment
(CSI) funding.

CONVERSE

South Africa

For over 115 years, Converse has been a symbol of youth culture, celebrated for fostering self-expression and individuality. The iconic Chucks have been worn by musicians, athletes, artists, and celebrities, remaining
a timeless canvas for any outfit. To honor this legacy, Converse launched the ‘Love, Chuck’ campaign, celebrating its connection to creative communities. They approached me to help localize the campaign, adding a South African spin while honoring the country's cultural and creative influences.
